Villa Silver is a beautiful holiday home on the island of Murter, an island in the northwest part of the Šibenik archipelago, separated from the mainland by a 20m wide sea canal at Tisno which is spanned by a short drawing-bridge. The house is gorgeous both on the outside and in, and as you first set foot on its courtyard, you are sure to be amazed. The house is designed in modern fashion architecturally, but it does very good in utilizing traditional building material as its main building block – stone. The pale stone of the villa is accentuated by the colors that surround it, be it the blue of the swimming pool or the green of the well-kept grass in front of the terrace. The terrace is reached from within the house, and it is a spacious tiled area with a fairly large swimming pool by which you may position a number of deck chairs and bask in the sunlight. Next to the pool is a lovely wooden pergola which shields the wooden dining table and benches from the Sun. The outdoor brick fireplace provides the option of making fine barbecue, or bread/pizza in the old fashioned brick oven. From the terrace the mesmerizing view spans over vast sea towards the horizon and the islands in the distance.
The interior of Villa Silver is just stunning. This usage of traditional elements in modern architecture and design successfully creates a rustic yet delicate atmosphere which provides both the modern day comfort and that old style charm. Stone and wood are the main elements of the interior, and they are all combined in a very elegant way, which is different and equally amazing in all the rooms of the villa – the dining room which looks like an underground wine cellar, the spa with a Jacuzzi, sauna, shower and lovely oval windows, the kind ships have. There is a room with a big billiard table, with wooden and stone walls and tiles with wood theme. A number of maritime style ornaments decorate the place, and they are positioned with great taste and care. The villa consists out of 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room with a satellite flat screen TV, a spa and a recreation room. A buffet breakfast is served every morning at the property, and aside from that, the kitchen is fully equipped for all your meal preparation needs. The place is air conditioned, free private parking is available, free WiFi as well, an d pets are welcome.
